CAREERS

Nurture nature with us.

At Rosara, we’re a plant nursery built on care — for plants, for people, and for the planet. Our friendly, knowledgeable team takes pride in growing and nurturing healthy plants while creating a welcoming, supportive place to work. Sustainability, curiosity, and doing things thoughtfully sit at the heart of everything we do. If you enjoy hands-on work, sharing knowledge, and being part of a team that truly cares, Rosara is a great place to grow.

My job entails public facing garden related sales, pruning, topiary, pest and disease identification, checking stock off as it comes in, quality control, potting up/on, weeding and maintaining display areas. We're lucky to have fabulous uniform for every kind of weather and an amazingly knowledgeable team who couldn't be more supportive. I love my job!”

    Kelly Craven, Horticultural Assistant

  • "I love my role in Rosara where I have creative lead with the amibition that all of our customers have an inspiring visit. As a chartered environmentalist, I take my role seriously to ensure that Rosara's retail operations are as sustainable as possible and that we use our opportunities where we interact with the public to share knowledge and nurture nature."

    Liz Nicholson, Managing Director

  • "Working at the nursery means I get to spend all day outside, surrounded by plants, and doing physical exercise. No two days are the same, which keeps the job interesting and rewarding!"

    Ben Hilston, Nursery Assistant

  • "Working with such a delightful team of individuals is always inspiring. Everyone is pulling to the same ends but will have lots of ideas about how we can make our offer even better. Whether it is about showcasing our environmental achievements, ideas to improve efficiency, or just health and safety suggestions! I believe that we nourish individuals and support their work journey, taking ownership and responsibility is a key ingredient of this. I am lucky in my role that I am able to liaise with all the members of the team.

    Merlin Brooke-Little, Director of Operations

  • "I thought I’d have to know a lot about plants to work at Rosara, but just a love of nature is enough! I can answer the phone and write down people’s enquiries then find the right person to answer their questions. There are behind-the-scenes processes we have to make everything run smoothly – quotes; orders; purchasing plants from specialist growers; delivering plants; invoicing; collecting customer feedback – there is a process for everything and, if it isn’t working we find a way to make it better. There is a real ‘can do’ team attitude here and because of the nature of working for a small, family-run business, your ideas for improvements are always listened to and heard. This is the best team of interesting, friendly, thoughtful, professional and talented people that I have ever worked with."

    Melanie Christianson, Horticultural Customer Service

  • I’ve been here for nearly 12 years, and I’m genuinely proud to say I love working here. Every day is different, and I’m surrounded by passionate, supportive people who truly believe in what they do. There’s a real sense of pride and positivity in the team, and it’s an environment where both people and nature are encouraged to thrive.
