At Rosara at Nicholsons, we have a delightful array of events designed to bring people together and connect with nature. We host everything from industry technical briefings, to hands-on horticultural workshops—like crafting a vibrant flower yard with Arthur Parkinson—to Christmas wreath-making sessions that end with a two-course lunch at our Michelin-recommended Yurt restaurant. Each event is led by en expert in their field, and often held in our beautful Orchard Barn at North Aston. Whether you’re into horticulture or simply curious, there is something for everyone.

James Alexander-Sinclair is a garden designer, writer, Chelsea Flower Show Judge and a vice president of the Royal Horticultural Society.

Spring Wreath Workshop - with Bunch
Join Melissa from Bunch at The Orchard Barn for a creative and inspiring Spring Living Wreath workshop in the heart of Oxfordshire, surrounded by the beautiful Cotswolds countryside.
A local florist known for her natural, seasonal style, Melissa specialises in working with locally grown flowers and sustainable techniques. During this relaxed, hands-on workshop, she’ll guide you step-by-step through creating your own stunning living spring wreath using fresh foliage, dried flowers, and spring bulbs.
Each wreath is built on a natural willow base and decorated with locally sourced, seasonal materials. Your finished design will continue to evolve and bloom on your door throughout spring — and once the season ends, the bulbs can be replanted in your garden to enjoy year after year.
All materials, tools, and expert tuition are included, along with delicious refreshments from The Yurt at Rosara events, Nicholsons. With no previous experience needed, this friendly wreath-making class is perfect for beginners, creative afternoons with friends, or anyone looking for a unique workshop experience in Oxfordshire or the Cotswolds.

Introduction to Botanical Art with Victoria Bolduc
Join Victoria for a full-day of botanical art in the beautiful Orchard Barn at Rosara.
Perfect for beginners, this enriching and restorative experience focuses on connecting with nature whilst learning foundational techniques in drawing and watercolour painting. With mindful painting sessions and a relaxed atmosphere, you’ll complete your own artwork to take home and gain the skills to continue exploring art.
